The Pond Family

One of my favorite things about taking family photographs is getting to know an entire family.  It is even better when I take pictures of a family multiple times.  I get to see the kids grow and even gain a little trust as they recognize me.  The first time I took photos of this family, neither kid wanted to smile at me.  This time, their little girl was happy to pose and talk to me.  Next time, I know I will get more smiles from the little man!

MDO Photos Are Ready!

I really enjoyed taking pictures of the kids at Morningside Day Out.  Every kid gave me a smile(eventually) and some gave me more.  I just love seeing all the different personalities come out as they get used to me.  I tried to capture those personalities and I think some of them were spot on!

MDO families, please click on the Client Gallery to access the pictures.  You should have received the password but if you don’t know it, email me! amy@smackdabphotography.com

You will be able to order digital files, prints and even canvases.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks.

Customizable Batmobiles? Yes Please

Recently, Ridemakerz asked me to throw a party for 10 boys to introduce them to customizable cars.  Ridemakerz sent me a box of  Xtreme Customz batmobiles to hand out.

I gathered together 9 of my son’s friends and just let them play.  I think the pictures speak for themselves but I was told that at least two of the boys slept with their new cars!  Check them out at www.xtremecustomz.com

*Ridemakerz provided the product at no cost to me

The Todd Family

I knew it is going to be a good shoot when the family told me to have fun and just capture their true personalities.  So we went to a beautiful old mill and ran around.  The family dogs even joined in.  After receiving art direction from the 5-year-old future photographer, I am so happy with the results that I had a hard time picking which photos to post.

Sorry for all the pictures but I couldn’t help myself!
